I must catch-up with my personal target as it is nearly end of the year. It is quite common to rush into many things and leave my routine behind when I'm in this stage.
I was distracted. But, I realized that it is important to think this way:
"It is not the time you spend, but the result you produce"
(Bob Pozen, 2010, http://blogs.hbr.org/2010/11/its-not-the-time-you-spend-but/)
So, I have to sacrifice my hobby.
However,
I've learned that I am an introvert since I read QUIET by Susan Cain.
That's why I feel more energized when I'm alone. I like to work independently and in solitude. Hence, there's nothing wrong about being me (well, I wish I could be an extrovert and easy going), but I always an 'I' type.
I feel much better being alone, working silently at home, rather than socializing!
Can't stand virtual social network, either:)
I don't have to be anyone or the 'Extrovert', but only myself. By realizing this, hope I can keep doing the right thing and contribute more to workplace and society in general.
For those who interested to evaluate their personality (even your boss/spouse personality), check out this link:
We can assess our personality and make the most of it. Empower ourselves from this initial information could help us to develop our inner strength and strive for success.
Anyway, I like this time where things are pretty quiet now. I just need to do what's on my list and return to my serene and peaceful cave to contemplate and maximize my efforts.
